A light-hearted look at walking as dancing. Amble, ramble, shuffle, stride, stomp along with choreographer Karl Jay-Lewin as he leads an exploratory workshop based on new dance piece, Extremely Pedestrian Chorales.  In part, a response to JS Bach’s famous vocal harmonies, this new work is a collaboration between Karl and composer Matteo Fargion, presents the commonplace experience of the pedestrian as an act of beauty and meaning and gentle comedy.
Expect an introduction to ideas behind the work, simple but irregular stepping patterns and 18th Century powder-wigs! Sense of humour essential, sense of rhythm useful.
